HOTEL and RESTAURANT
The recently restored Antica Locanda San Pietro is complete with an exclusive restaurant, with a first-rate attention to detail.
The hotel offers its guests its own restaurant run by Chef Francesco, who proposes different local dishes, every day. They are prepared with local ingredients, guaranteeing prime results in terms of quality, genuineness and assurance for any type of food intolerance, thanks to tailor made dishes. From porcini mushrooms to the most prestigious truffles, the restaurant serves farm to table produce the same day it was picked.
The decision to offer a restaurant service inside the hotel was taken to give guests the possibility to take advantage of a personally customized cuisine for each guest.
The building includes a wine cellar with a vast assortment of wines – mostly from local producers – where you can choose wines to perfectly pair with each dish and taste our local native varieties.
The wine list was formed by choosing the most intriguing wine labels, that offer an emotional experience on all fronts. Amongst the wines available you will find whites like Arneis ( a native white from Roero), Moscato, Nascetta (an ancient local variety which nearly disappeared but has been rediscovered by a handful of producers) and more. Then we can not forget the red varietals and their DOCs like Dolcetto di Diano d’Alba or Dogliani, Barbera and most of all, Nebbiolo in all its forms including the noble Barbaresco and Barolo.
The restaurant is open every day and it is advisable to book a table at least one day prior.
